TV On The Radio – Second Song
Here’s a music video of the song ‘Second Song’ by TV On The Radio from their new album Nine Types of Light. I particularly like this video because of the dreamy colors, the awesome claymation and the super awesome.. inky watery magic? I really really like it. I think it was created by pouring water/inky oil into some type of light box container and separating and realeasing boxes of color. I can’t find an animator or any information on the creation of this video anywhere. That is really frustrating. :P Just trying to appreciate someone. Well, besides the visuals, the song is awesome too. Check it out!

Looks good. Finally a movie that’s coming out in theaters that I might spend money and time going to see. (I’m not a big fan of leaving my house and spending $10 to watch a movie that I could be watching in my own home for free. My friends think I am lame.)
Things that are quality: The Broship of the Rings
Noelle Stevenson is a loverly, apparently ginger, artist who draws one of the most quality things ever: the Fellowship as a “modern-day buddy road trip story”. It is most excellent.
wrapping up the summer playlist
Well yes, I did make this back in like July, but I can still post it here, but in more of a lamenting the end of summer way. Please enjoy whilst you pack up your things and move back to school.
Dream State

So I’m as indifferent about photography as the next person. I really only like three kinds of photography: Ball Jointed Doll photography, informal-style portrait photography and dreamy landscapes. My perfect photo would be of a informal-style misty bjd (like so.) :|
Because of my recent obsession with traveling and my prior obsession with summer and dreaming, it comes to no surprise that I’ve started to collect smokey dreamy photos on my tumblr. I thought I might display them here in a more collected fashion.
The following photos embody the dreamy, misty, summery photos you would take being under the influence of the sun and too much sleep. They might be blurry and colorful. Read More
Japan
Definitely my number one destination. This will be a continually updated dump for all things to do with the physical country of Japan as well as locations I plan to visit in the two weeks or so I will spend there.
Traveling
Hello
In roughly 680 days, I will be leaving to go on a trip around the world. That’s the plan anyway. I will be taking the Semester at Sea during spring semester of my junior year of university. I cannot explain to you how excited I am. Even though, as I mentioned, I still have two years to go. Or maybe it’s just a year and a half.
With still many years to go until I depart on my journey, I have still begun my preparations. Namely, gathering inspirational videos/photos/literature that will give me an idea of how I want to document my travels.
After many an hour on Vimeo, here is a collection of fascinating and exciting travel videos. Not all of them are necessarily stereotypical, but I find all of them inspiring.

free [legal] music
Yeah, it totally exists and I am all over it all the time. And I hope you aren’t disappointed to hear that it’s mostly indie-type music, made by bands who want to get their name out. And it definitely works.
